(a) Choosing toys: Choose toys for the skill they will promote and not
according to the sex of the child.
(b) Telling stories: Pay attention to the characteristics attributed to the gender
of the character in the story.
(c) Fair play: Allow choices and encourage children to participate in all
activities with no reference to their sex.
(d) Friendship: Avoid polarity and encourage friendship between both the
sexes.
(e) Work distribution: Do not ask children of one particular gender to do a
particular work. Let children choose and volunteer.
