• Contextualisation: According to the children’s environment/context/region
specific.
• Developmentally Appropriate ECCE Curriculum: A programme designed
to meet children’s development and learning.

• Diverse needs: Varied/different needs of children.
• Inclusion: An approach where all children are included; where ALL children
learn together in one classroom, regardless of their strengths and weaknesses.

• Reinforcement: The activities can be repeated by using different materials;
by using additional material to strengthen the concept.
• Stimulating environment: Interesting, appealing and exciting classroom
environment.
